This week we are highlighting LCD Public Displays in the 65″ Full HD category covering sizes 65″ to 69.99″ with 1920 x 1080 resolution. There are seven brands featured in the advertising. Samsung is at the top of the PageShare for the combined three major countries, NEC Displays is second and Philips is third. In France, Samsung is top followed by Panasonic. In Germany, Samsung leads with NEC Displays in second and LG in third while in the UK, NEC Displays is top with Samsung in second and Philips in third.
Over the three countries, NEC Displays takes the top position with the MultiSync V652 with Samsung taking the next two positions with the ED65D and the MD65C. In France, Samsung takes the top two positions with the ED65D and the DM65D followed by Panasonic’s TH-65LFE7E in third. In Germany, NEC Displays’ MultiSync V652 is top followed by Samsung’s DM65D in second and Samsung’s ED65D in third. The three leading models in the UK were NEC Displays’ MultiSync V652, NEC Display’s E654 and the Philips BDL6520EL.
The average dollar price was down 18% year on year over the three countries. The average dollar price in France was down 32% YoY, while in Germany it was down 18% and in the UK it was down by 15%. The minimum price in February for a 65″ Full HD LCD public display was $2,373.21 excluding tax.
