Dixon Exploits Displays to Sell

Dixons Carphone in the UK has worked with designers Rudi Group and media partners, The Creative Engine, to develop a POS system that uses a 2 x 2 video wall to explain technology to potential customers. The system detects when a particular camera is picked up and content relevant to that model is shown to the user. The system is being trialled in Croydon and Southampton and will be rolled out to other stores. As well as running the display, the software tracks customer behaviour to allow detailed analysis.
