DisplayPort Enabled on Aten’s New KVM

A new 2-port DisplayPort KVM switch from Aten, the CS782DP, has been designed for graphically-intensive applications. It supports resolutions up to UltraHD at 60Hz, and switching can be accomplished through a remote selector; mouse; or hotkeys.

DisplayPort Dual Mode is supported, to directly output single-link HDMI or DVI via an externally-powered adapter. The switch also supports multimedia keyboards, wireless peripherals and will auto-switch to the second connected computer when the active one is powered off.

DisplayPort and USB (x2) console connections are featured, while KVM connections are DisplayPort (x2) and USB-B (x2). The switch is on sale now.
