Display Devices. the Colorado, USA based developer of kiosk solutions demonstrated its latest kiosk display at Infocomm 2015. The solution is based on a 65″ AUO panel and is protected by an external glass panel against vandalism. It also includes a touch interface for user input.
The company has just completed an installation in downtown Denver as an interactive kiosk solution for visitors. The system contains two displays, with one side running advertising that pays for the installation and operation of the kiosk, while the other side contains the information portion.
The system will display text, images, and general information as a public display controlled by the city. The information includes public transport, direction and finding restaurants and other points of interest in Denver. There is also a photo booth that lets you take a picture and post it to a virtual whiteboard. In addition, it allows developers to put up games for testing and include things like question of the week. – NH
