DigitalEurope has announced the appointment of Cecilia Bonefeld-Dahl as Director General of the organisation. She is currently the CEO of Globit and previously held international positions with IBM and Oracle and helped other companies build their business in Europe and China. She is also a board member of the Danish Chamber of Commerce and is also chairman of the board of the Danish ICT association, and brings more than 20 years’ experience in the ICT industry. Under her leadership, the Danish association increased its membership by 50% and in early 2017 added a further 60 members through a merger with another ICT association.
Ms Bonefeld-Dahl was serving as an Executive Board member of DigitalEurope and was a member of its Digital Advisory Council, which gives the big picture perspective of the tech sector in Europe to senior EU politicians.
