Cogeco Connexion has introduced a new TiVo 4K PVR allowing its customers in Quebec and Ontario to access UHD TV.
Customers will now be able to see UHD images with four times the resolution of HD TV and with four times the level of detail, allowing much higher frame rates, enhanced colour and a wider dynamic range.
Customers will need to subscribe to the new TiVo 4K service, and will be able to record up to six programs simultaneously as well as view online content. The Netflix app will also be installed and all content can be viewed on tablets and smartphones from anywhere.
In addition, Cogeco Connexion is also launching TSN 4K, providing coverage of Canadian live sports action, plus access to OTT providers, such as Netflix. New 4K channels will be added to the portfolio in the coming weeks.
