Cedia is a trade association that supports companies in the the high end home A/V market – the “installation” segment for A/V, lighting and home cinema. The organisation holds an event in the US each year and this year Cedia 2015 was held in Dallas from October 13th to 15th, a little later than in some previous years, when it has clashed with IBC and IFA. At the time of writing, the attendance figures had not been published, but the organisation had announced its best product award which went to the Digital Projection Insight 4K Dual LED projector – see Chris’s report.
