Advanced Television reported that the BBC said at the recent Mipcom event in Cannes that it is expanding the range of titles that it is creating with HDR and UltraHD now that there is a specification (BT.2100) that sets out the standards for content creation. The BBC expects UltraHD to be a difficult challenge for terrestrial TV, which is still widely used in the UK. Content is likely to be on the iPLayer platform over the internet first.
