Barco Residential’s new Medea 4K is ‘Entry Level’

Barco has announced a new projector for home use, the Medea 4K, with a new optical engine and light source that is joining the Barco Residential range as an ‘entry level’ UltraHD laser projector. The projector has been developed and produced in the Barco facility in Norway and produces 5,500 lumens of output with HDR10 support. Lifetime of the light source is 40,000 hours and the unit has a liquid-cooled system to allow operation in any orientation. The projector has seven different lenses for flexible installation and the projector uses the control system from the Loki and Balder projectors, allowing comprehensive control from a PC or Mac.

Features include lens shift and there is a built-in warp engine.
