AOC has a new 31.5″ 2560 x 1440 (QuadHD) monitor, the Q3279VWF. The monitor is very good value at £249 ($273) and has an MVA panel with 5ms response. The panel is said to have 8 bit colour depth and frame rate control (FRC or temporal dithering) to increase bit depth to 10 bits. Brightness is 250 cd/m² and the static contrast is 3,000:1. Colour gamut is 88% of NTSC and the monitor supports FreeSync.
Connections are VGA, DVI Dual Link, HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2 as well as a headphone jack.
The monitor supports FreeSync and MMD told us that the monitor can support refresh rates from 48Hz to 75Hz using the technology.
The monitor will ship in Europe in November.
