ITRI Lowers Touch Production Costs

The Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) showcased a new metal mesh production technology at Touch Taiwan last month. The technology is said to feature a ‘one-step’ roll-to-roll method, which can apparently lower production costs by 30%. ITRI’s process achieves this by reducing the facilities and materials required. It will be used in 3.5″ – 11.6″ touch panels, the organisation said.
