Eizo Corporation globally announced the ColorEdge CG279X, a 27″ QuadHD 2560 x 1440 monitor designed for colour critical applications and using a number of features for content creators. The monitor supports HLG and PQ HDR curves and supports 98% of DCI-P3 with 1,300:1 contrast from an IPS panel with 350 cd/m² of output and recommended brightness is 120 cd/m², Response time is 13ms. The unit includes an integrated sensor for self-calibration.
Inputs include USB Type-C, DisplayPort, DVI-D and HDMI as well as four USB ports.
Other features include:
- 3D LUT for individual color adjustment on an RGB cubic table
- 10-bit simultaneous display from a 16-bit LUT for smooth color gradations
- Broadcast and cinema preset modes: BT.2020, BT.709, DCI, PQ_DCI, PQ_BT.2100, HLG_BT.2100
- Light-shielding hood included
- 5-year manufacturer’s warranty
The monitor will be available from December at €2,199 including VAT ($2,133 + tax) and will be previewed at IBC (we’ll be there to take a look).
