Tom’s Hardware has reviewed the HTC Vive Pro headset that was shown to us at CES. (HTC Vive Pro Matches Visuals of Samsung Odyssey) The website highlighted the reduced screen door effect and improved image quality from the upgraded 1600 x 1440 OLEDs that have 78% more pixels than the Vive. Although the site was initially negative about the pricing, after review, it sees the Vive Pro as justifying the higher price and likes the changes that have been put into effect in the design.

Reviewers said that they didn’t notice the pixelation. I did, but then again, I’m a geek! It’s good to see the displays getting towards the level they need to be reasonably quickly. (BR)
