Digital Projection Inc said that its Titan Quad 2000 projector is being used in the St John Paul II National Shrine in Washington, USA. The site attracts 18 million visitors per year and a space has been set up with two 180º theatres, a multi-touch interactive table, a 6-screen interactive wall, Planar Matrix and Mosaic display systems and several “computer interactives”.
The exhibit was designed so that visitors would begin their journey in a large theatre, move through connecting gallery spaces containing interactive displays and personal artefacts, and end their experience in a smaller, more intimate theatre.
The company was recently featured on the Science Channel in the Machines:How They Work series (below)
