Visix, the Georgia, USA-based provider of digital signage software premiered its latest version of AxisTV 9.2 at Infocomm 2015. The web access TV solution runs either from a dedicated server or in the cloud.
The latest version focuses on improving the user experience as well as adding live data integration into the mix. It features a fast-loading dashboard that includes player snapshots, quick links to common features, as well as the top five content contributors and top five most populated playlists. There is also a large file uploader built into the web interface and a selectable video handler that allows clients to choose playback options. For the data integration, Visix now supports Excel, XML and SharePoint to allow mapping of dynamic content. There is also a wayfinding app, geo fencing and the option to use locator beacons throughout the area of usage.
The company also demonstrated for the first time the new AxisTV design layout editor and the event integration app.
Visix’s largest markets are higher education and large enterprise applications. – NH
