The Tribeca Film Festival, held in New York City from April 13 to the 24, has always supported new forms of entertainment in the forms of gaming, events, installations etc. This year the number of VR based presentations is increasing to a total of 23 exhibits, 16 of which will be world premiers.
The exhibits are part of the storyscapes and virtual arcade events. The VR exhibits allow the viewer unique views in the future of VR entertainment, most of which are not game based. There is a wide range of content, reaching from documentaries to pure fiction.
