Vivitek has introduced the DU6693Z laser projector which is a single 0.67″ DLP unit with 7,000 Ansi lumens of output and 1920 x 1200 (16:10) resolution. Contrast is claimed at 10,000:1. It is claimed to be one of the quietest of this class of projector with just 32 dB of noise in normal mode.
Features include a motorised lens with horizontal and vertical shift (Vertical: +64%, -33%; Horizontal: +24%, -14%) and there are a range of lenses that support from 0.38:1 to 8.26:1 throw ratio. 10 memory positions are supported. The projector also has HDBaseT connectivity.
Other connectors include VGA, HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI-D and component video.
The projector has a fully sealed optical engine and uses a laser phosphor light source. The warranty is five years on the projector and three years or 10,000 hours for the laser phosphor light source.
Weight is 27kg and the projector is 500 x 580 x 205mm.
