Vivitek’s newest laser projector will be shown off at ISE 2016 in February, but is available now. The DU8090Z features an automatic colour sensor, for brightness and colour consistency; and blending, warping and geometry correction.

Lens shift, zoom and focus are all powered. The projector can display picture-in-picture, using different input sources (HDMI, DVI-D, component, VGA). 33G-SDI in/out, VGA out and RJ45 (HDBaseT) ports are also featured.

360° projection is supported, and the unit is designed for 24/7 use. Eight different lenses can be used, with throw ratios ranging from 0.38:1 to 8.26:1. A 40″ – 500″ image can be thrown, from 1m – 12.7m. +/-60° horizontal and +/-40° vertical keystone correction is built in.

Display resolution is 1920 x 1200 and contrast ratio is 10,000:1. Measurements are 500 x 580 x 205mm and weight is 28kg.

Vivitek is selling the DU8090Z now, for $15,500.
