A compact, high brightness laser projector with excellent image quality and a large projection size, the DU4871Z combines sophisticated cooling design and advanced dust protection to aid longevity, while its comprehensive, eco-friendly functions, ensure the DU4871Z is a sustainable choice.
Network-friendly and secure, it also boasts a wide range of diverse connectivity options, ensuring that the DU4871Z is as easy to use as its image quality is to admire.
Being a Vivitek projector, much attention has been paid to ensuring it delivers exceptional image quality. In the case of the DU4871Z, this is assured thanks to its DLP® and BrilliantColor™ Technology, along with 7,000 ANSI lumens high brightness with excellent uniformity and no dark corners. Its exceptional colour performance comes courtesy of its Dynamic Contrast Ratio of 2,500,000. The DU4871Z supports large screen projection (36.7”~ 322.97”) without image distortion and DCR Mode, while its Constant Brightness keeps the brightness consistent at all times.
Naturally, there is a Picture Performance Phosphor Wheel + Color Wheel to generate vivid, colour accurate images. The user calibrated Colour Manager can be adjusted to suit the content being viewed. Those work in conjunction with Vivitek’s advanced colour technology, multiple modes and hardware features which provide lasting, reliable and precise colours to deliver brilliant, accurate, high contrast, full spectrum images. The image quality is matched by the sound quality, which is delivered via two 5w speakers.
Benefitting from Vivitek’s years of understanding about the user experience, set up of the DU4871Z has been simplified thanks to a number of intelligent built-in features. These include a 360° angle free, Keystone, 4 corner correction to adjust and maximise setup flexibility to fit any environment. There’s also a zoom ratio, a lens shift and Geometric Adjustment to help further refine the projector’s set up.
Once in situ, connectivity is a cinch too, thanks to the DU4371Z being Crestron® RoomView certified for easy communications and remote control over an IT network. With RoomView’s Express management software, the projector can be controlled, automated and monitored for status and usage. Its HDBaseT™ interface supports distribution of HD video and digital audio content over standard CAT5e/6 LAN cable with support that extends up to 100m from its source. Meanwhile, the quick auto search filtering helps quickly locate input signal sources (HDMI, VGA), all within three seconds. Furthermore, the Direct Power On – Automatic Power On is activated by plugging the power cord into an outlet and without pressing the Power key. The Wireless Presentation Power USB-A ports enables HDMI based multimedia or wireless presentation devices like NovoConnect (NC-X300, NovoPro, NovoDS) to be connected.
With the environment front of mind for all public and private sector organisations, the DU4871Z meets the requirement for a projector that puts sustainability first, as reflected in a number of eco features. These include No Signal Power Off and Low Power Modes as well as a sleep timer. Longevity also lies at the heart of sustainability, and thanks to Vivitek’s advanced Air Flow Optimisation know-how, the DU4371Z benefits from automated fan speeds for optimal air flow and cooling which prevents components failing due to exposure to extreme heat. The clever airflow paths and sealed Optical Engine compartment are completely dust tight, allowing no ingress of dust or water, up to the standards required to be compliant with the IP6X standard. In Normal mode, the DU4871Z can perform for up to 20,000 hours, while Eco Mode extends this lifespan to 30,000 hours. Helping to keep the DU4871Z secure, are a number of built-in security features. These include a Keypad Lock, a robust Kensington® lock as well as a Security Lock Remote ID.
