UK regulator Ofcom is examining future demand for satellite bandwidth in a new consultation document, which is open for comments until the 10th May. One of the body’s key findings is that it believes that there will be enough satellite spectrum to deliver “30 UltraHD channels and continued growth in the number of HD channels”. This is due to technology improvements, Ofcom said.
