TPV has taken on Allegro DVT’s DVB HEVC System compliance streams, for the validation of a new range of HEVC-enabled LCD TVs. Allegro’s system provides two levels of verification: a quick visual check and an in-depth analysis using measuring tools. TPV used the system to carry out logo-oriented pre-certification tests, against the latest DVB standard specifying the HEVC codec.
