Thin-client company NComputing is reported to be in the process of being acquired by a ‘large hardware vendor’.
Several sources contacted by CRN claimed that the desktop virtualisation company is in talks with a potentiual buyer, suggesting that an announcement could be made as early as this week.
NComputing is ranked third in the global thin client market behind HP and Dell, according to IDC, shipping its N-Series thic clients for Citrix environments as well as its own end-to-end desktop application virtualisation platform, vSpace.
