Monitor maker, Eizo, has released a set of monitor tests on its global website to help monitor buyers to evaluate products or check their monitors for quality and pixel defects. There are 13 tests on the site.
The test looks quite useful. The joys of good PCs and web technologies make support of animations possible. In ‘the bad old days’, it was really hard to produce motion graphics that would work consistently on different PCs, let alone other systems such as Macs (or, these days, Chromebooks). I was pleased to see that the Eizo test pattern correctly showed an UltraHD image to match my UltraHD monitor. (BR)
