I’m on my holidays this week (at least in theory!) in France. As I woke up after the annual Bastille Day celebrations, I saw news of the terrible attack in Nice after the fireworks last night in Nice. My thoughts are with those that saw this special night of national celebration turn to horror. I had only remarked to my wife, during the evening and before we enjoyed the fireworks, that the passing of the Euros soccer tournament and most of the Tour de France had passed, mostly, without serious incident.
Those that know me know that I’m not often lost for words, but, this morning, I really can’t find the words to comment.
