TCO proposes Accepted Substances List

TCO Certified has stated that more information is needed about the effects of non-halogenated substances, which have been used to replace halogenated flame retardants in IT products. A new draft proposes the phase-out of the substances designated as most hazardous, and the creation of an Accepted Substances List for those found to be least hazardous.
