Sopraco Relies on Eizo IP Decoding Monitors for Quality Control

Sopraco supplies meat for wholesalers, supermarket chains, butchers, and the hospitality industry in Europe. The company uses technology to carry out quality control on its work processes. The group’s integrated slaughterhouse features three separate routes for calves, cattle and pigs. Over 100 IP cameras supply video streams of the three slaughterhouse routes. Employees evaluate these live on monitors 24/7.

Sopraco also uses the same technology to monitor the factory entrance and thereby verifies the licence plates of all vehicles that enter the company premises. The group uses Eizo’s DuraVision FDF2304W-IP (23”) and FDF4627W-IP (46”) IP decoding monitors for this purpose.

Mark Ameloot who is responsible for ICT and technology within Sopraco said,

“As we saw it, there were several reasons to choose the Eizo solution. Both of the IP decoding monitors feature excellent image displays. Moreover, operating them doesn’t require any computers, software, or other hardware that requires time-consuming update processes or might break down. This reduces the total cost of ownership for us. The network connection for both devices works quickly, inexpensively, and with little effort on our end. We also don’t have to establish a connection to the local video management system. We can even carry out camera management in a flexible way through the user-friendly Web interface during ongoing operations. Alongside the excellent product quality, we also appreciate Eizo’s outstanding customer service.”
