Sony recently disclosed pricing and availability details for its highly anticipated 2023 QD-OLED television, the Bravia XR A95L. It will be offered in 55-inch, 65-inch, and 77-inch models, with prices starting at $2,800. The Bravia XR A95L 65-inch variant will come in at $3,500, and the 77-inch model at $4,500. Pre-orders will be available from Sony authorized dealers starting on August 21st.
By contrast, Samsung’s 55-inch S95C can be found for around $1,500 with discounts. The 65-inch version comes in at $2,000 in discounted pricing, and the 77-inch version comes in at $3,200. Considering the Sony TVs are just vanilla Google TVs, and Samsung has some sort of value added software line-up, and branding, it’s hard to see what the expectation is for these products from the Japanese consumer electronics giant.
