Taiwan’s Avalue Technology has had some success with its 42″ black and white ePaper displays, already in use as electronic whiteboards and patient information bulletin boards in hospitals. Now, the company is expanding its ePaper lineup to include a new color display (EPD-2501) for digital signage and posters with four colors: black, white, red, and yellow.
Avalue plans to launch the color ePaper display in Q4 of 2023, with enhanced contrast, resolution, refresh rate, and flash alert technology. The company is targeting education, publishing, and commercial advertising with its low energy, reusable, and recyclable products. The product comes with 25.3” E Ink Spectra 3100 Plus Black/White/Red/Yellow, 25.3” E Ink Gallery Plus Full color 55K, 25.3″ E Ink Kaleido with color 4096 display options. It has an Intel Celeron on-board processor, 64GB solid state drive (SSD), is IP54 rated, and has a super slim bezel design.
