What They Say
Sony is teaming with Kramer to work on combining Kramer’s software with its own analytics to address the education market. The Bravia display will become the control processor for all the AV devices in the room. There is also the option to move away from a centralised control processor by using the Kramer Brainware which can be installed on Sony’s Bravia range.
Optional features include:
- Handwriting extraction across multiple displays (to follow the speaker’s movements)
- PTZ auto-tracking
- close-up ‘by gesture’ features
- Chromakey-less CG Overlay
- Real-time cropping,
What We Think
This is, presumably, an extension of the deal announced in 2019 that first put Brainware on Bravia sets. (Kramer & Sony Add Advanced Control Features to Professional Displays) (BR)
