Sling TV Becomes First Pay TV Operator to Debut ‘Watch Party’ Feature

What They Say

Sling TV has introduced a ‘watch party’ feature to allow enhanced viewing of streamed content with the addition of text and video alongside the main video images. It needs a Chrome browser on a PC to work correctly at the moment. Users can co-watch content from channels like TNT, TBS, AMC, CNN, A&E, History, IFC, BBC America, TruTV, and others. Other streaming companies are also developing this kind of technology.

What We Think

Clearly this is a big attraction of YouTube videos and I can really understand how it could be attractive for sports fans unable to attend matches as normal. (BR)
