The Society for Information Display (SID) has announced a new award to honor young researchers under the age of 40 who have made innovation of design and enhancement of the performance of active matrix addressed information displays. The deadline for the nomination of 2017 awards is 15th October 2016.
The award is named after Dr. Peter Brody, a pioneer in the development of TFTs for displays and was funded by a donation from Dr. Fan-Chen Luo of AUO who worked with Brody in the early 1970s at Westinghouse.
