Shopping Season is Almost Upon Us

Black Friday marks the traditional beginning of the end-of-year shopping season in the USA. In recent years, European retailers have also begun to offer promotions in mid-late November.

Amazon began its sales earlier in the month, discounting a 28″ UltraHD ViewSonic monitor to $545, down from $830. It is also set to run flash sales again – very limited-time offers, with new ones posted every 10 minutes, starting from 24th November.

A 50″ Panasonic TV will be sold by Best Buy for $200, as well as a Playstation 4 with two games for $400. The company will sell an 11.6″ Macbook Air with 128GB of storage for $780 ($120 less than normal), a 4GB Kindle Fire for $50 (down from $80) and will be offering between $100 and $150 off Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3 (128GB).

Sears will sell a 55″ 1920 x 1080 Samsung LCD TV for $600 – reduced from $1,200. A 60″ model will also be on sale for $1,300 (originally $1,700), and a 39″ for $300 (down from $400). Samsung’s curved, UltraHD 65″ UN65HU7250 TV will be sold for $2,000, down from $2,500.

A 60″ TV from LG will be sold by Sam’s Club for half price: $650. Additionally, a 60″ Vizio UltraHD TV will be sold for $1,000 – a saving of $650.

Like Best Buy, Target will sell a PS4 with two games for $400. The company has also announced that it will reduce the price of the Xbox One with Assassin’s Creed Unity and Black Flag, plus a $50 Target gift card, to $330. Google’s Chromecast will be on sale for $25. The ‘doorbuster’ deal will be a 39″ Vizio TV for $220 (down from $350).
