Samsung has announced the Galaxy Tab A, a 10.1″ tablet which can work with the Samsung S Pen. The display is a 1920 x 1200 LCD unit with anti-glare and a blue filter. The tablet has an Exynos 7870 octa core processor and a battery that is rated for 14 hours of browsing time and has a capacity of 7,300mAh. Memory is 3GB with 16GB of storage and expansion via microSD up to 256GB. The camera on the rear is 8 megapixels and on the front has 2 megapixels. The operating system is Android Marshmallow.
Weight is 553 gms (1.22 lbs) and dimensions of 254 x 164 x 8 mms (10.0” x 6.46” x 0.32”). Pricing is $349 and the tablet is available immediately.
