ProSiebenSat.1 will broadcast a special edition of its Galileo Spezial magazine show on its HD+ platform’s UHD1 channel. The show will be transmitted in Ultra HD and HLG HDR via satellite, alongside the programme’s usual SD and HD broadcasts. The special broadcast will also be available on-demand via the ProSieben website and app for a limited time.

The broadcaster also announced future planned UHD broadcasts, including two of its Tuesday night movies and cooking show, “Rosins Restaurants”.
ProSiebenSat.1’s chief distribution officer Nicole Agudo Berbel commented, “With the proliferation of UHD-enabled TVs, demand for attractive UHD content is also increasing”.
