Primeview used NAB to show off its ‘studio-quality’ 55″ OLED display, first seen and reported by us at ISE – the PRV55OLEDHDBT. The company stressed the advantages of OLED over LCD, including refresh rate, black levels and colour (we believe that the panel is from LG Display – not only the only company with large OLEDs in mass-production, but also a previous Primeview OLED partner – TA).
As well as this, an HD-SDI video wall of 55″ displays, with a 3.5mm pixel-to-pixel distance, was being shown. NAB marked the first public showing of the video wall and OLED display in the USA.
