Primeview, the New York based developer and manufacturer of industrial display solutions was showing its 55″ OLED display for the first time at a US conference. While already introduced at ISE, Primeview is pushing this new model with HDBaseT connectivity for control room applications.
The company also showed a mirrored LCD prototype for special applications. While this idea is not entirely new, the achieved effect is still surprising, as can be seen in the image below.
In the left part, the display is turned off and you can see the reporter taking the picture, while the right part shows the same device with the display turned on.
All Primeview displays are for designed for 24/7 applications and are now offering HDBaseT connectivity besides DVI and HDMI. Typical applications are control rooms, for example, the installation at the Port Authority of New York. – NH
