The Portugese Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (ANACOM) authority said that at the end of Q3, the number of Pay TV subscribers had increased to 3.639 million, up 44,000 on Q2 and 159,000 up on Q3 2015. Cable was the biggest segment with 36.8%of subscribers, FTTH/B optical was second at 27.1%, DTH satellite at 16.5% and xDSL/IP at 19.5%.
