Philips IPS Monitors Have Presence Sensor

MMD has released two new 24″ Philips monitors that have ambient sensors to reduce power consumption when nobody is near the display. It also has a Low Blue mode, a feature that Philips has been promoting for over a year, now. The monitors have 1920 x 1200 (16:10) panels based on IPS technology with 300 cd/m² of output and 1,000:1 native contrast and dynamic contrast as well. Response time is 5ms (grey to grey). There are VGA, DisplayPort and HDMI ports and dual USB ports as well as dual 2W audio. The monitors have 130mm of height adjustment.

The 240B7QPJEB costs €349 and the 240B7QPTEB adds a mini-DisplayPort connector and costs €359.
