32″ is a new size for MMD/Philips’ 2560 x 1440 LCD monitors, which it now has a presence in with the BDM3270QP. The display can show 10-bit colour and features 12-bit internal processing.
Multiview technology splits the screen in half to display content from two separate sources. These can be connected through DisplayPort, MHL-HDMI, dual-link DVI or VGA ports. USB 3.0 (x2) and USB 2.0 (x2) are also featured.
The display uses an AMVA panel and is flicker-free. It has a 12ms response time, 3,000:1 contrast ratio and 178° viewing angles. Brightness is 300 cd/m².
An adjustable stand provides 180mm height adjustment; -5° – 20° tilt; 340° swivel; and 90° pivot. Two 3W speakers are built in.
MMD is selling the BDM3270QP now, for £375 ($580) ex VAT.
