Peerless-AV Mounts Chosen for War Memorial Centre in France

The Sir John Monash Centre, which opened in France earlier this year, recalls the role played by the Australian allied forces during the various battles of the Somme between 1914 and 1918.

The facility comprises several multimedia galleries, equipped with over 400 LCD screens, a video integration and broadcasting system, show control technology and other equipment deployed by Orpheo Group, a French company specialising in multimedia visitor guides.

The centrepiece of the memorial is a gallery equipped with nearly 200 screens and a spatialised audio system, providing a 360° audio and video experience. The experience is complemented by smoke emission effects and light beams, in sync with the video.

Orpheo’s tender included 96 quick release pop-out video wall mounts with a slim overall depth from the wall and another 48 flat video wall mounts for attaching screens to a sloping wall, while ensuring the utmost safety.

Peerless-AV’s DS-VW755S Ultra Slim Quick Release and DS-VW665 Flat Video Wall Mounts were chosen and installed within the specified timeframe.
