Chip Sales Outperform Predictions in Q3

Worldwide semiconductor sales reached $87 billion in Q3’14, a 5.7% QoQ and 8% YoY increase, according to the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA). Christie Brings Mongolian Hero to Life

Christie and Chinese partner Wincom Technologies have assisted with the installation of a 360 deg visual display in the Jangar Culture & Arts Palace. Using eight of Christie’s DS+6K-M 3DLP projectors and the Christie Twist software, the display measures 12m x 4m. It tells the story of Jangar, a Mongolian folk hero.

Christie’s StIM WQ DLP projectors and FHD461-X LCD displays have been chosen to power the visual displays for the Air National Guard’s Boom Operator Simulation System (BOSS) in the USA.
