Streaming video service Wuaki.tv has been officially launched in Germany, following a beta test starting in October. The service is available on connected TVs from Samsung, Panasonic and LG, as well as iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.
Hannspree monitors and tablets are now being distributed by ed’System in Slovakia.
HBO’s standalone streaming service (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 42) will be launched next April. The OTT service will be separate from HBO Go and will target cord-cutters; people will be able to watch without being locked into a rolling subscription.
