BOE Looks to Local Vendors

BOE is looking to Chinese vendors for growth, say Asian reports, following Samsung’s disappointing smartphone sales. Lenovo, Huawei, ZTE and Coolpad are among the vendors named. BOE is also expanding its LTPS TFT-LCD capacity for mid-range and high-end panels. The main focus is HD panels, but FullHD models will be developed in 2015.
