A set of portable dome projection displays has been released by Barco. The TD series is available with one, three or five projectors: the F35 and F50 on the single-projector models (TD-135, TD-150); F22 or F50 on the three-projector models (TD-322, TD-350); and F22 on the five-projector model (TD-522).

Dell’s P2415Q and P2715Q LCD monitors (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 45) are now available worldwide. They cost $600 and $700, respectively (quite a low price increase for the extra space you get! – TA).

Germany’s Distec is now selling the LQ190E1LX75 LCD module that we saw from Sharp at SID 2014 (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 25).

Epson’s newest 3LCD home cinema projector, the Powerlite 5025UB, is fitted with detail enhancement technology. Images are defined more clearly and surface details are enhanced. 2D (five colour modes) and 3D (three colour modes) projection are supported. The projector is THX Display certified and enjoys flexible installation, with vertical (96%) and horizontal (47%) lens shift and a 2.1x optical zoom. Epson could not send us detailed specifications before we went to print.

The DM85UZXR 85″ ‘Diamond’ TV from JVC (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 46) will cost $8,000 when it is released in January, according to FlatpanelsHD.

Philips’ BDM4065UC 40″ UltraHD LCD monitor (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 36) is now available in Europe. It costs €670.

The new LQ201U1LW32, a 20.1″ LCD module, has been designed as a drop-in replacement option in its size class. Designed by Sharp Microelectronics of the Americas, the LQ201U1LW32 is an industrial strength unit using a-Si technology. It has 1600 x 1200 resolution; 170 deg viewing angles; a 1,400:1 contrast ratio; and 30ms response time. Frequency is 60Hz. An LED backlight provides 260 cd/m² of brightness. The module uses an LVDS interface. One-piece sample pricing is $800.

From now until 23rd December, customers buying a new Toshiba M7 TV in Germany will also receive a free SBM1W soundbar, worth €200. Additionally, a 55″ TV has been added to Toshiba’s L54 series (Display Monitor Vol 20 No 35). The 55L5445DG is available now, with two sets of active-3D glasses, for €925.
