Ofcom plans to achieve its aim by early 2022, or possibly as early as 2020. DTT services, meanwhile, will move to the 600MHz spectrum.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSMC) has paid $85 million to acquire a factory in northern Taiwan from Qualcomm. TSMC said in a filing on the Taiwan Stock Exchange that it has bought the plant for “production purposes”.
