Samsung Display’s efforts to lower OLED smartphone panel pricing will see the company achieve cost parity with TFT-LCD panels this year, claim sources with upstream component suppliers. The gap was between $10 and $15 in 2013 and $5 in 2014. The cost difference is now about 10% higher.
