Zeon Corporation has announced that it began mass-production of retardation films for LCD TVs, at its plant in Himi City, Japan, in February. Production was scheduled for April, but high demand prompted the company to bring the date forward. With the opening of the fifth line, Zeon’s capacity is now 95 million m² annually.

Broadsign is powering the expansion of a DOOH network in Latin America, owned by Cinemark Holdings. An additional 800 screens, using Broadsign’s platform, are to be added to the existing 542 displays this year. These include DLP projectors, LCD and LED displays, all using the Xpress player.
