Radiocom, the Romanian national transmission company, has begun DVB-T2 tests. The tests are taking place in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi and Timisoara. All transmitters for DVB-T2 should be in place by the end of 2016.

JCDecaux has completed the acquisition of Africa’s Continental Outdoor Media. The company announced in December 2014 that it would acquire Continental Outdoor in partnership with Royal Bafokeng Holdings, a community-owned investment company, with a shareholding split of 70/30. Through the acquisition, JCDecaux now has reach in 13 new African countries.
