LA Reconsiders Signage Switch-Off

Los Angeles banned digital signage everywhere, apart from some select areas, in 2013 (Display Monitor Vol 20 No 17). Now, a City Hall panel is reconsidering the decision. Two issues are being considered: whether to limit the billboards to special ‘districts’, or to allow them throughout the city via a special permit.
