Envivio has said that it supplied encoding support to the Canal+ Group, for its trial satellite and OTT distribution of the UEFA Champions League final in UltraHD last month. Envivio’s Muse UltraHD solution was used, which can encode UltraHD at 60fps and features HEVC and the BT.2020 standard.
